The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German World War II combat aircraft that was designed by Willy Messerschmitt, Robert Lusser, and others in the early to middle 1930s. The Bf 109 was the backbone for the Luftwaffe fighter force during World War II. It first saw service in the Spanish Civil War, and it continued to be in service until the dawn of jet age, at the end. The Focke-Wulf Fw190 was introduced to the Bf109 at the end of World War II. Each ProfiPACK contains a plastic model, as well as photoetched sets, Eduard Masks and a large sheet with decals covering four or six options for markings. It is easy to recognize the line by its orange-accented box and, with recent releases, with the addition of the ProfiPACK Logo.
