Takom 1/35 Scale British Main Battle Tank Chieftain mk.5/P 2-in-1 – Plastic This highly detailed static kit contains 491 precision injected styrene pieces in grey (of which 194 are the tracks and 194 the separate ‘rubber track pad’ parts), 22 in transparent, 43 Photo etched brass parts. 1 flexible brown vinyl for the main gunmantlet dust cover. 2 poly caps. There are markings for 7 different vehicles, including 1 BATUS, another British example that served in D Squadron. 4/7 Dragoon guards Berlin 1983. A Kuwaiti Army version of the Iraqi invasion from 1991. And 3 Iranian Army versions, 2 from the Iran-Iraq War 1980-88, and one from 2001. The attractive Chieftain mk.5/P paint and markings guide by AMMO of Mig Jimenez contains all five views. The main gun can be raised or lowered, the infrared and gun sight are optional, there is an extra storage box for Iranian and Kuwaiti versions, and all hatches and the gun travel lock work. This model kit is for assembly only. Paint and cement are not included. This kit is recommended for those aged 14 and up.
